As usual, Las Vegas will be ringing the new year in in style, with an unparalleled lineup of celebrity events, musical performances, and DJs.  Although there are many events generating a great deal of buzzed, perhaps the most highly anticipated is a special Las Vegas New Year’s Eve 2012 party with Fergie at the grand opening of 1 OAK at the Mirage, in the space that was once the home to Jet Nightclub.  Fellow Black Eyed Pea, will.i.am. will be performing a DJ set at Surrender Nightclub at Encore at Wynn nearby.

The Kardashian family will be all over the Strip for New Year’s Eve, with Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick at Chateau at Planet Hollywood, Rob Kardashian at Tryst at Wynn, and Kim Kardashian at Tao at the Venetian.  With all of the Kardashians in town, one can’t help wondering if the “surprise” at Lavo will be Khlomar or even Bruce & Kris.

Marquee will be celebrating its one year anniversary with Kaskade and, within the same building, Stevie Wonder will be performing his special “New Year New Possibilities 2012” show.  Other musical events include Drake at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Vanessa Williams at the Riviera.
